Experience Luxury at Le Bristol Paris: The Iconic Suite Impériale
Le Bristol Paris first welcomed guests on rue du Faubourg‑Saint‑Honoré in April 1925, during the lively Roaring Twenties. Over a century later, this historic hotel, one of the earliest to earn the prestigious Palace distinction from the French government, continues to captivate visitors from around the world.
To celebrate its centennial, the Oetker Collection, proud guardians since 1978, has unveiled a stunning transformation of one of its most legendary spaces — the Suite Impériale. Opened last month (May 2025), this renovated haven now begins at €40,500 ($46,250) per night. Though prices have soared since the 1920s, this suite offers much more than basic accommodation.
Standing at an impressive 3,444 square feet, the Suite Impériale ranks among the largest suites in Paris. It’s a design masterpiece, born from a collaborative effort. Elvira and Narcisa Oetker curated the vision, working alongside Pierre-Yves Rochon, a renowned French interior architect whose work graces luxury hotels worldwide—from The Peninsula in Shanghai to Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills.
The suite’s artistic spirit is reflected in original pieces by George Condo, a celebrated contemporary New York artist and frequent guest over the past twenty years. Condo personally created artworks for this space, including The Dark Lady in Red, a favorite of his. A solid gold door handle designed by Condo, featuring his Uncle Joe motif, adds a unique touch.
Design highlights include a vintage Fornasetti ‘Leopardo’ marquetry chest, De Gournay hand-painted wallpaper, and a hand-tufted rug by Marguerite Le Maire. Decor also features works by Chagall, Giacometti, and Jean Cocteau, reflecting the artistic heritage cherished by the Oetker family.
The suite’s layout is flexible, with up to three interconnected bedrooms, a formal salon, private dining room, and full kitchen. Every stay offers a VIP arrival, luxury transfers, complimentary minibar, in-suite breakfast, a spa treatment for two, and a dedicated maître d’hôtel.
In addition to the Suite Impériale, Le Bristol Paris has also revamped The Honeymoon Suite. Also unveiled in May 2025, this romantic retreat boasts Eiffel Tower views and a fresco by Dimitri Rybaltchenko, a talented Parisian artist.
