Rooted in Tradition

Since 1957, the silleteros—traditional farmers—have carried intricate flower arrangements, or silletas, down from Santa Elena’s mountains to Medellín’s streets. This tradition, now 68 years strong, culminates in the iconic Desfile de los Silleteros, where families proudly showcase creations weighing over 100 pounds.
